Types of piles
First, understand your piles.
External piles.
Under the skin around the anus, sometimes called veli moolam. A swelling or lump may feel uncomfortable.
Bleeding piles.
Sometimes called ratha moolam. Rectal bleeding needs an examination because piles are not the only possible cause.
